We’re going to call this one “rustic”, because that sounds nicer than “Ugly”.
It accelerated SO FAST I had to let it turn into hot angry soap mix while still in my mixing bucket, and then carefully spoon it into my moulds. It’s not a pretty soap, by any means.
But what it is, is a delightful soap to use. Somehow, despite the uneven patterning, and the wobby bobbly top, it is an absolute delight in the shower. Creamy, rich, spicy scented. Hits all the right notes for a pick-me-up in the morning.
Scented with sweet bay, this is reminiscent of a bay rum, with a lightness to it I really like. Spicy and delicious.
